Applications are open for the Manatee County Housing Repair and Rehabilitation Program

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla .– Manatee County is accepting applications for its home repair and rehabilitation program by August 20.

Entries will be placed in a random group that will be drawn on August 31 in the order in which they are served under the Housing Rehabilitation / Replacement Program. 20% of the funding will be set aside to serve households with disabilities.

The county says limited funding is available and that approximately five households will be served, and only very low / low income households will be served through the funding.

Funding is provided in the form of a deferred payment loan at zero interest (0%) for 30 years. The program ends once all funds have been committed for eligible households.
