Ben and Jerry’s the new line of ice cream is on top with chocolate ganache.
“There’s a Topped flavor for every fan – whether your jam is fruit, peanut butter, caramel, or mint – and each one pairs perfectly with a generous, luxurious layer of chocolate ganache on top,” a Ben & Jerry’s said in a press release.
The new range is available in seven flavors:
Whiskey Biz is a brown butter bourbon ice cream with blonde brownies and whiskey caramel swirls topped with white chocolate ganache and chunks of white fondant. This flavor “is produced in partnership with Spiritual Vermont sensation WhistlePig Whiskey, proudly showcasing their award-winning 6-year-old whiskey, WhistlePig PiggyBack Rye, baked in caramel swirls.”
Chocolate Caramel Cookie Dough is chocolate ice cream with caramel swirls and pieces of chocolate chip cookie dough topped with caramel cups and chocolate ganache.
PB on top is Chocolate ice cream with peanut butter swirls and peanut butter cups topped with mini peanut butter cups and chocolate ganache.
Salted Caramel Brownie is a vanilla ice cream with salted caramel swirls and fudge brownies topped with caramel cups and chocolate ganache.
Pie garnished with strawberries is a sweet cream ice cream with strawberry swirls and pieces of pie crust topped with white chocolate ganache and candy.
Thick mint is a mint ice cream with chocolate cookie swirls and mint chocolate cookie balls topped with chocolate cookies and chocolate ganache.
Tiramisu includes mascarpone ice cream with fudge swirls and shortbread chunks topped with espresso fudge chunks and chocolate ganache.
“We wanted to increase the level of indulgence with this unique range of flavors, which completely challenges the way you eat this ice cream,” said Dena Wimette, Ben & Jerry’s innovation guru. “We started with sundaes and all the things you add to sundaes to make them great for inspiration. You could say that we ended up passing the Topped.
The Topped line is available at retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $ 4.99 to $ 5.49.
