Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has started rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) following a hand injury that ruled him out of the South African series.
Kuldeep and striker KL Rahul were ruled out of the five-game T20I series against South Africa at home earlier this month.
On Monday, the wrist turner shared a photo on the Koo app as he began his rehabilitation at the NCA. “Back to the NCA. Rehab time,” Kuldeep captioned the post on the Koo app.
Meanwhile, KL Rahul has further been left out of the rescheduled fifth Test which India is set to play against England at Old Trafford from July 1.
KL Rahul had also reported to the NCA last week that the medical team felt the batter would not play the rescheduled fifth Test against England.
Additionally, the All India Senior Selection Committee has added Mayank Agarwal to the India test squad for the rescheduled fifth test on the cover of Captain Rohit Sharma who tested positive for COVID-19.
