According to a report published in the India time,
Chahar is already at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for his 8 week long rehab. CSK hope Chahar will join their side in the coming weeks, having already started their preparations for the new campaign in Surat.
While there are no plans to rush Chahar into action, CSK is monitoring his development every step of the way and hopes to have his big buy from the mega auction fit and fired after a few weeks.
After performing MRI scans, Chahar was advised to go under the knife, but the pacemaker decided against it. The 29-year-old, like most Indian designers, is aiming for a spot in India’s squad for the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia. If he had decided to undergo surgery, he would have missed the whole IPL, reducing his chances of competing in the T20 World Cup.
So Chahar took the bold call to continue his rehab without undergoing surgery. Then an 8-week long detox was suggested, after which the stimulator should be available for selection.
