“Six Pack Abs Aaya Hai”: Shaheen Afridi in rehab in London. look

Pakistani pacemaker Shaheen Shah Afridi is in rehab in London and he is trying to ensure he is available for the T20 World Cup which will be played in Australia in October-November this year. Following Pakistan’s victory over India in the Super 4 leg of the Asian Cup 2022 underway on Sunday, guards Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf interacted with Shaheen, who is currently in London.

In a video shared by the official PCB Twitter handle, Naseem and Haris can be seen checking on Shaheen where the left arm seamstress says, “Rehab is going well with weight training. I’ll be bowling in two weeks, pack of six (abs) aaya hai a little.”

To this, Haris had a hilarious response, saying, “Yeah, you’re planning on becoming an actor later, aren’t you?”

In the video, Afridi also said he wanted to see Yorkers get knocked down by Haris and Naseem to the death. Afridi also told Rauf that he saw the game against India and thought Rauf’s bowling was “very good”.

“Asia cup nahi jaani chahiye” (Asia cup should not escape us),” Afridi said in the video.

To this, Rauf said, “Aap ki bathaye hue.. aap guru ho!” (Just by following your path, you are the guru).”

While in London, Shaheen will remain under the supervision of the PCB Medical Advisory Board, which also includes London-based Dr Imtiaz Ahmed and Dr Zafar Iqbal.

Shaheen suffered a PCL injury in July while lining up in the first Test against Sri Lanka. He is expected to return to full fitness ahead of the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, although his return to competitive cricket is decided by the PCB Medical Advisory Board.
