FY2020 MDHHS/BHDDA Veteran Navigator Project Review Video
This video reflects the review and highlights of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration (BHDDA) Veterans Navigator Project for FY 2020 (October 1, 2019 -September 30, 2020). BHDDA Veteran Liaison Brian Webb and some of the former Inpatient Prepaid Health Plan (PIHP) navigators and Community Mental Health Service Providers (CMHSP) explain the Walking With Warriors and Women projects Veteran Strong, the Drive-In Events COVID-19 Care Program, and the Heroes Haven organization, all of which have provided support to Michigan veterans and their family members over the past year. The video was made as an alternative to the annual BHDDA Veterans Summit, which was canceled in November 2020 due to the COVID pandemic. The primary target audience for this video are PIHPs, CMHSPs, the publicly funded Behavioral Health Provider Network, key stakeholders and colleagues, and Michigan veterans, military personnel and their families.
