Westbrook Health Services Plans Open House at St. Marys Facility | News, Sports, Jobs

ST. MARYS – Westbrook Health Services will be holding an open house from 4 pm to 6 pm on June 2 at its new St. Marys location at 111 Lafayette Street.

The office was previously located at 210 2nd St., St. Marys.

Visitors can tour Westbrook’s new mobile unit, funded by the state opioid response grant, which will be parked in the parking lot. The mobile unit includes two private clinic rooms and extends the availability of Westbrook services to areas of the region where access to behavioral health care and treatment for substance use disorders is inadequate.

The mobile medical unit provides individuals with access to specialists in behavioral health and chemical dependence and can connect clients with follow-up care and other necessary services.

Westbrook’s staff includes psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, psychologists, counselors, social workers, addiction counselors and peer support specialists. He recently hired child psychiatrist Dr Suman Narasimhamurthy, who will see patients between the ages of 5 and 17.

Westbrook Health Services is a licensed nonprofit community behavioral health care provider in Calhoun, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Tyler, Wirt and Wood counties. Since 1949, Westbrook has worked with local drug addiction coalitions, family resource networks, schools, law enforcement and hospitals to provide the best possible services to our community.
